Bex Gaunt is an award-winning performer, composer, and conductor based in Detroit, MI. A former touring fiddle player and vocalist with a GRAMMY® Award-winning folk band, Bex has performed across the U.S., Canada, and Ireland, and collaborated with acclaimed artists such as Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli. She performs with various ensembles, leads music clinics, and has been a long-time vocalist with the renowned Minneapolis-based choir, VocalEssence. Her compositions, published by the Justice Choir Songbook and GIA Publications, reflect her passion for inspiring change through music. As a choral director, Bex has worked with singers of all ages, recently serving the vibrant communities of St. Catherine University, Nativity Lutheran, and the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis, as well as leading youth and intergenerational choirs at festivals and clinics.
