Our best guess at attire language is "casual garden party". But since we've already thrown most wedding etiquette out the window, we'll tell you what we really think:
1. Dress comfy
2. You do you
3. Wear clothes!
Starters We will enjoy a wide array of cheeses, charcuterie, and light hors d’oeuvres.
Dinner will feature chicken and beef tenderloin kebabs roasted over a rotisserie spit grill. The kebabs will be accompanied by salad, an assortment of grilled vegetables, sweet corn, and rice.
Dessert We are excited to share a delectable array of desserts by local St. Paul pastry chef Marc Heu.
Beverages A selection of wine, beer, and soft drinks will be available throughout the day.
Please let us know if you have any dietary or allergy restrictions so we can provide accommodations.
As we mentioned in our first email, this will be an intimate gathering with less than 30 guests. We feel so blessed that our special day is happening now that everyone has had the opportunity to be vaccinated. Zack and Bex are fully vaccinated and thus will not be wearing masks. We also feel comfortable with hugs (yay)! However, we support anyone who wears a mask and prefers to maintain social distance.
The best way to navigate to the castle is this PIN. You will see balloons which means you have found the driveway (it's long)! Now follow the signs to park at the tennis court.
After we melt your hearts with our nauseatingly sweet love in holy matrimony, we are excited to showcase the combined talents of YOU (our family and friends). This is a super affirming, low-pressure environment and no one will be forced to do anything. But we want you to know that will have instruments and sound system all setup. We will also have a curated song book of lyrics and chord charts. But if there is a specific song you are itching to do, BY ALL MEANS DO IT. There will also be a bevy or instrumentalists at your disposal if you need someone to back you!
